Our crowdfunding campaign has ended, but you can still support CARE at work by clicking here.
Our campaign has officially ended, and we are thrilled to share that we met our 50 donor goal and have raised over $2,000 in honor of the fourth year of CARE at Work and the third cohort of the Freedom Fellowship!
This success was made possible by your support, and we are incredibly grateful for your generosity. The CARE Spark 2024 crowdfunding campaign was aimed at supporting Black young workers to achieve economic justice, and we are inspired by the way that this mission has resonated with our community.
These funds will be put to immediate use supporting the needs of the 2024 cohort of the Freedom Fellowship. Please be sure to keep an eye out for future news and opportunities from CARE at Work. On behalf of all of us, thank you for your support.
Check out a video from our program manager and program coordinator with a special message for you!
In Gratitude,
CARE at Work Team
On behalf of everyone here at CARE at Work, thank you for supporting and committing to furthering opportunities for Black youth. We have currently raised $1,699 with the support of 35 donors, and we are grateful to every member of our community who has contributed thus far.
We still need to meet our goal of 50 donors by February 9th to be able to assist the 2024 cohort of Freedom Fellows, and you can help by spreading the word about our campaign in its final week and sharing our page: http://spark.ucla.edu/2024CAREatwork
Pictured here are the 2023 Freedom Fellows graduates. Every dollar directly impacts the experiences of the Freedom Fellows working to advance Black rights and worker justice.
We're thrilled to share that we have currently raised $861 with the support of 21 donors in support of economic justice for Black workers and the Freedom Fellowship. THANK YOU for your support!
As we start Black History month, we are grateful for your and our community’s support of the CARE at Work Freedom Fellowship, which offers Black students hands-on leadership experiences by placing them in some of the most dynamic Black Worker Centers across California.
We hope to reach our goal of 50 donors by February 9th and hope you can help us spread the word! http://spark.ucla.edu/2024CAREatwork
