Hello!
My name is Samantha Hwang and I am currently a first year MPH student in the FSPH. This will be my first time running in any sort of public event and I am especially excited to support my school and fellow peers through my run.
The funds raised will help graduate students like me feel financially secure while doing our public health fellowships over the summer and help make a difference in the communities we will support worldwide. As many of you may know, I have an extremely small family that donate with their hearts but I definitely need your help in raising money to reach my goal.
Most of you might be surprised to see me make this commitment because I am also surprised and proud of myself for committing to this challenge. Fitness and body positively are both really important to me and I have grown to love it more because they relate to my passion for the subject of mental health. I look forward to pursuing my fieldwork in this area over the summer as well.
